Houston County Clerk of Superior Court
Help elect Angela
Angela Anderson was born and raised in Houston County, GA, which is the same county she is running for office. She has 2 daughters, Tanea and Makayla. She has worked in the court system of Houston County since 1998. Angela began her career as a Crime Victim Advocate, where she assisted victims of crime in Juvenile, State and Superior Courts. She then became a legal assistant with the District Attorney’s Office in the Drug Unit. In 2017, the Chief Assistant ADA, at that time, was appointed as a Superior Court Judge. She asked Angela to be her assistant, and she has now been with her since 2007. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Houston County, an organization dedicated to fighting homelessness.
Angela is running for Superior Court Clerk because she feels that is time for a change in that office. She would like to focus on customer service, utilize technology to improve services and collaborate with other county offices to improve efficiency within the office. She has always loved being able to help those in need. When you are a public servant, she believes that your job is to make others feel as comfortable as possible and provide them with the assistance they need. When you no longer care about the feelings of the citizens that enter your office, it is time to move on. One of Angela’s many goals is to make everyone feel welcomed regardless of their economic situation, and ensure they leave that office having accomplished what they set out to do without difficulty.
